My First Post!

*JMJ* Welcome all of you to my new blog. This is my second blog. I am also the author of Peek-A-Boo Street. http://peekaboostreet.blogspot.com/ I am so excited about my new blog. I have a devotion to the Holy Family. So I want to dedicate this blog to the Holy Family, JMJ (Jesus, Mary, Joseph.) I even have a statue of the Holy Family in my living room where I can view it easily every day and not tucked into a cabinet somewhere. I am a housewife. So my whole life is dedicated to my family. Plus on a sad note, my parents were divorced when I was a child. So those are the two reasons why I have such a devotion to the Holy Family. I just absolutely love the Holy Family and that is why I want to dedicate my new blog to the Holy Family. So bare with me as I start up my new blog here. But please come back and visit. I would love to hear from you. So please leave comments as I continue on with my new blog. Also that way, I can check out your blog as well. I would love to see them.

Prayer for the Family

O dear Jesus,
I humbly implore You to grant Your special
graces to our family. May our home be the
shrine of peace, purity, love, labor and faith. I
beg You, dear Jesus, to protect and bless all of
us, absent and preent, living and dead.

O Mary,
loving Mother of Jesus, and our Mother,
pray to Jesus for our family, for all the
families of the world, to guard the cradle
of the newborn, the schools of the young
and their vocations.

Blessed Saint Joseph,
holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assisit us
by your prayers in all the necessities of
life. Ask of Jesus that special grace which
He granted to you, to watch over our home
at the pillow of the sick and the dying, so
that with Mary and with you, heaven may
find our family unbroken in the Sacred
Heart of Jesus.

Please pray for my husbands' friend who has cancer. (Hail Mary...)

Please pray for the end of war. (Hail Mary...)

Please pray for all the abused and neglected children. That they may become free from their abusers. (Hail Mary...)

Please pray for the Poor Souls of Purgatory. (Hail Mary...)

Please pray for the Pope's intentions & his health. (Hail Mary...)

Please pray for your parish priest. (Hail Mary...)

Please pray for the conversion of sinners. (Hail Mary...)

Beatitudes

Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for
righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the clean of heart,
for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacmakers,
for they will be called children of God.

sake of righteousness,

Prayer Before a Crucifix

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus
while before Your face I humbly kneel and,
with burning soul, pray and beseech You to
fix deep in my heart lively sentiments of
faith, hope, and chairty; true contrition for
my sins and a firm purpose of amendment.

While I contemplate, with great love and ten-
der pity, Your five most precious wounds,
pondering over them within me and calling
to mind the words which David, Your
prophet, said of You my Jesus:

"They have pierced My hands and My feet,
they have numbered all My bones."
