Check This Out!

*JMJ* My husband found this illusion on the Internet. I just had to share it with you all!
You have to stare at the center of this illusion for at least 30 seconds. In the area of those four small dots. After 20, you might guess what the image is, but continue to stare at it for the full 30 seconds. Then quickly look at a white wall or a white piece of paper and begin to blink quickly.
Awesome isn't it?! I thought it was just awesome. No other word for it. God bless!

I stopped in today just to listen to your music, it's wonderful....and I wanted to tell you I was unable to get the same result of looking at the picture when I printed it off from your site (could be my printer) but I did find it on the internet and had it e-mailed to me and it works....I have sent the e-mail onto my family. Have a great day,xo

Yes, interesting. There are a number of such illusions out there, including an American flag that changes from weird colors to red-white-and blue. It has to do with eye perception (obviously). I have used a lot of these things (which you can find all over the Internet by googling "optical illusion") in my philosophy classes to help students start thinking out of the box.

Yes, it's fun to do. The psychological explanation is how the brain swaps out colors -- so black becomes white and white black, which is why you get the image you get. There are some other ones out there, in color. Look for optical illusions on Google and you will find them. However, I do agree. It is an awesome feeling when you look from the paper to the wall.
